More Information

Our commercial-grade Small Bubble Wrap Rolls are engineered with 10mm diameter by 3.5mm height cells, offering an exceptional, low-profile protective barrier for lightweight, delicate, and intricately shaped products. Manufactured with a minimum of 30% recycled polythene content, this air-cushioning wrap delivers superior impact absorption while remaining entirely exempt from the UK Plastic Packaging Tax. It is highly flexible, making it easy for packing teams to wrap tight contours around glassware, cosmetics, books, frames, and retail components on fast-moving e-commerce packing lines. Available in standard 1200mm and 1500mm bundle widths, these rolls can be custom slit into configurations like 2x750mm or 3x500mm to perfectly match your packing station dimensions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Which side of the small bubble wrap should face the product during packing?
For maximum transit protection, the bubble side should always face inward, directly against your item. This allows the individual air pockets to cradle the product and absorb shock, while the smooth outer layer shields against dust and friction.

Does your small bubble wrap comply with the UK Plastic Packaging Tax?
Yes. Our small bubble wrap rolls are manufactured using at least 30% recycled low-density polythene (LDPE), ensuring full compliance and protecting your business from additional environmental tax overheads.

What are the main benefits of using small bubble cells over large bubble cells?
Small bubbles are ideal for surface protection, preventing scratches, and wrapping light or intricately shaped items like ceramics. Large bubbles are better suited for heavy-duty cushioning and filling large empty spaces inside boxes.

Is this recycled plastic bubble wrap fully recyclable after use?
Yes. It is made from LDPE, meaning end-consumers or warehouse teams can recycle it alongside standard flexible plastic and pallet wrap stretch film at recycling centres across the UK.

Does small bubble wrap add significant weight to post and courier parcels?
No. Because the structure is composed of over 95% air, it provides heavy-duty protection at an ultra-lightweight profile, keeping your postal and courier costs down.

Can this bubble wrap be torn easily by hand without packing knives?
It is highly resilient against punctures during transit, but operators can cut it cleanly using a standard warehouse safety knife or tape dispenser tear bar.
