• Recyclable Kraft Paper Tape: An eco-conscious option that blends seamlessly with corrugated boxes. Made from renewable paper stock with an eco-friendly adhesive, allowing the box and tape to be recycled together.

• Polypropylene (PP) Tape: A heavy-duty, high-tack synthetic tape engineered for smooth unwinding, high tensile strength, and excellent moisture resistance during rough winter transit.

What is Christmas packing tape?
Christmas packing tape is adhesive tape printed with a festive design and intended for packing, sealing or decorating parcels during the Christmas season.
L-PAC’s range includes Santa Baby and Oh Christmas Tree designs, with both polypropylene and paper tape options available.
It’s an easy way for ecommerce retailers and other businesses to make their Christmas parcels look different from their everyday deliveries.

What adhesive is used?
The tapes use hotmelt adhesive.
Our polypropylene tapes are high-tack packing tapes designed to provide an excellent long-term bond, while the paper versions also feature a high-tack hotmelt adhesive.

How long are the rolls?
The polypropylene Christmas tapes are 66m long.
The kraft paper Christmas tapes are 50m long.
Check the individual product option before ordering to confirm the width, roll length and pack quantity.

Will the Christmas tape fit a standard tape gun?
Yes. All of the Christmas packing tapes have a 75mm core, making them compatible with standard tape guns designed for the corresponding tape width.
If you don’t already have a dispenser, L-PAC also sells handheld tape guns, so you can order the tape and dispensing equipment together.

What’s the difference between polypropylene and paper packing tape?
The main difference is the tape backing.
Our polypropylene Christmas tape uses a polypropylene backing and is supplied in 48mm / 2″ x 66m rolls.
Our Christmas paper tapes use a kraft paper backing and are supplied on 50m rolls. Santa Baby uses white kraft, while Oh Christmas Tree uses brown kraft.
The best choice will depend on your packaging, application and the finished appearance you’re looking to create.

Can I use Christmas tape on plain cardboard boxes?
Absolutely. In fact, that’s one of the simplest ways to use it.
Apply the printed tape to a plain kraft corrugated box to turn standard packaging into something noticeably more festive.
This can be particularly useful if you already hold stocks of everyday shipping cartons but want your Christmas orders to have a different appearance.

Can I use the tape with your Christmas printed boxes?
Yes. Our Christmas tape is designed to coordinate with the wider Santa Baby and Oh Christmas Tree packaging collections.
Matching products include printed corrugated shipping boxes, ecommerce boxes, kraft wrapping paper and labels.
Use several products together to create a coordinated Christmas parcel, or pick individual items to add a smaller festive touch to your existing packaging.

Is the tape suitable for ecommerce packaging?
Yes. Printed Christmas tape is particularly useful for ecommerce parcels and seasonal online orders.
It allows businesses to introduce a Christmas theme at the packing bench while retaining their normal carton sizes and packing processes.
It’s also an easy way to make parcels instantly recognisable as festive deliveries when they arrive with your customer.

Can I buy Christmas tape in bulk?
Yes. Our Christmas packing tapes are available with quantity-based pricing, making them suitable for everything from smaller seasonal packing requirements to larger ecommerce and fulfilment operations.
Pack quantities vary by product. The 48mm / 2″ tapes are generally supplied in packs of 6 rolls, while the narrower 24mm / 1″ Santa Baby paper tape is supplied in packs of 12 rolls.

Can the kraft paper tape be recycled directly with the cardboard box?
Yes. The kraft paper tape is fully kerbside recyclable, so your customers can recycle the entire package in their standard paper bin without peeling off the tape first.

Do these rolls fit standard tape dispensers?
Both the 2″ kraft paper and polypropylene tapes feature standard 76 mm (3-inch) cores, making them completely compatible with standard hand-held tape guns and benchtop dispensers.

Which material is better for heavy winter shipping?
Polypropylene (PP) tape offers maximum tensile strength and moisture resistance, making it ideal for heavy parcels or long-distance shipping exposed to rain and cold. Kraft paper tape is ideal for light-to-medium packages and brands prioritising eco-friendly presentation.

Are these tapes self-adhesive or water-activated?
Both design options in both materials come as self-adhesive (pressure-sensitive) tapes for fast, hassle-free application straight out of the box, no water moisteners required.
